Daniela’s Words of Wisdom: 3 Ways to Get the Best Deal

When You Shop Online

Free Returns when you shop using PayPal:

“Free Returns -  PayPal calls it Free Return Shipping but it’s really more of a reimbursement that you can get from PayPal for a total of 12/year and up to $30 per eligible purchase. You have to file a claim but the process is not too bad: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns

Saving Cash thanks to Honey:

I shared this one back in May, 2016. The advice is still solid.

“It auto-applies coupon codes to find the best one for the items you have in your cart. I got 15% off at M&S and 20% off at Good American. I could have found those on the internet but this definitely saves you time.”

Track when prices have dropped and file a claim for you automatically

Paribus from Capital One is awesome if someone is ok letting it scan his/her/their inbox. It looks for order confirmation emails and keeps track of price changes based on story policy. It then files a claim for you if the price drops (at online stores like Macy’s or Nordstrom that will refund you the difference if the price drop happens within x days of your purchase). They also show you return windows.”

Pssst…. Are you on the Poplin email list? You get all sorts of dreamy tips and tricks in your inbox. No spam. No sharing of your info. Just good stuff. Sign up!
