Here’s What You Need to Know About Black Friday Deals

Some brands and retailers have started offering Black Friday discounts. Others will wait until Friday. We can’t know for sure who will offer what (although we do have a sneak peek on some sites). This means that these lists are intended to get your shopping cart ready. That’s why we are starting on Monday. You’re busy. You’ve got things. This gives you some time to go through the lists and figure out what speaks to you.

Let’s talk about Affiliate Marketing, Shall We?

In modern times, affiliate marketing rules the world. What does it mean? Affiliate marketing means that when you click through a link on the Poplin site and head over to a retailer’s site, you are following the Poplin affiliate link. If you choose to buy items(s) IN THE SAME SESSION, Poplin may receive a commission on your purchase at no additional cost to you.

This commission is based on your entire purchase during the session, not on just one item. Believe it.

Does it matter? It absolutely does. When you click on affiliate links, the revenue makes it possible for me to spend time creating meaty blog posts for you. When affiiliate marking doesn’t pan out, it makes more business sense to devote a higher amount of time to individual client work. Wait a minute….. Seriously, does it matter?

So, whenever you are visiting a website thanks to a blogger or even an article in a magazine, it’s highly likely there was an affilate link. If you don’t use them, you don’t save money. The corporations just get to keep more.
