Please Tell Me You Have at Least One of These 3 Must Have Cold Weather Accessories

 Lyska Long Gloves. FarFetch. $310.

Sure, the weather changes daily. But there's no need to hold off on your cold weather accessory purchases until it's too late. This fall we're seeing three accessories that have been out of rotation for some time. What does that mean to you? It means you are going to need to start keeping your eyes open for these babies as they slowly hit retailers. Then, bam! You are officially a trend setter.

And hey, if I haven't said it lately, just a quick note that I REALLY appreciate you reading the blog, the newsletter and just supporting Poplin in general. You are a nice person. Thank you. As your very own personal stylist for women, I thought it might be a nice reminder on this rainy day.

3 Essential Accessories for Cold Weather

ELMA Long Nappa Leather Driving Gloves. Amazon. $44.

1. A Pair of Extra Long Gloves.

I like to give Scandal credit for these. And thanks to the partnership between Kerry Washington and the Limited, if you were moving fast, you could have purchased a grey leather pair last fall at the retailer. This fall, they are more elusive... for now. But, they are coming back full force. Keep your eyes peeled. Personally, I love a nice long glove (technically opera gloves reach beyond the elbow) with a 3/4 length sleeve coat.

Pankhurst Classic Wool Beret. Available in multiple colors. Nordstrom. $24.

2. A Beret.

It's time to replace your beenie with a beret. Why not? You are sophisticated and it's been a long time since the beret adorned your head. Whether you pick one up a Nordstrom or Forever 21, you'll be glad you did.

Topshop Faux Fur Tonal Stole. Topshop. $52.

3. A Faux Fur Stole.

If you read my post a few weeks ago about fall trends, you saw my mention of faux fur stoles. If you are drawn to that sort of thing, go for it. If not, don't feel forced into the trend. There are lots of options out there. I also dig the snood for statement making cold weather accessory.

Time to surf the internet while waiting for the workweek to end. Enjoy!
