Is it wrong? Ever since I heard Lena Dunham and Claire Danes gushing about Scandal on the red carpet of the Golden Globes, I decided it was time to check it out.
Whatever your feelings on Scandal, one thing is true, the clothes are worth the viewing. As your very own personal stylist, I feel compelled to make sure you are in the know on this one.
Olivia Pope's predominantly white wardrobe is classy and bold. Balancing minimalism, clean lines and neutral colors, it's all gladiator all the time. (Okay, if you don't watch the show, that's meaningless. Apologies.)
And, you know how much I love the Limited. The retailer makes it so easy to buy a great fitting pant with current trends in mind. Plus, you can't beat the price.
Season 4 of Scandal premiers on September 25th. (I just wrapped up season 3 courtesy of our friends at Netflix.) And, the new line (designed in collaboration with Kerry Washington and costume designer Lyn Paolo) premiers online and in stores on September 23rd. So, you can plan to rock your new pieces just in time to show off your bad ass self while watching the show with friends.
One last thing: If you are looking for the Limited in Seattle, keep looking. The closest stores are in Alderwood Mall and Southcenter Mall. Might I recommend SouthCenter for a larger selection? If you joined us for the Poplin event at the Limited several months ago, you are familiar with the seemingly endless selection. And if you head that direction, let them know Poplin sent you!
Now, off to dress like a gladiator!
